Alles wat u moet weten voor u wilt fokken met uw Lhasa Apso
Fokken met uw hond is een leuke en spannende bezigheid. Als alles tenminste goed gaat.

Er komt namelijk heel wat bij kijken. Als eigenaar van de Lhasa Apso teef bent u bijvoorbeeld verantwoordelijk voor het uitkiezen van een geschikte reu en het vaststellen van het juiste moment van dekken. Daarnaast moet u ook nog de dracht en de geboorte begeleiden en na de bevalling de Lhasa Apso teef en pups goed verzorgen en socialiseren.

Niet gering dus. Maar als alles goed gaat, is het zeker de moeite waard.

Castratie - sterilisatie van een Lhasa Apso

Je hoort het geregeld: "laat hem maar castreren dan gaat het wel over". Met "hem" bedoelt men de reu en met "het" worden diverse gedragsproblemen bedoeld. Agressie naar andere honden en/of andere mensen, weglopen, het op de meest vervelende plaatsen de poot oplichten, hypersexueel gedrag etc.
Vaak wordt deze ingreep als een soort wondermiddel toegepast. Dat de resultaten niet altijd even bevredigend zijn wordt als jammer beschouwd. Toch kan castratie een goed hulpmiddel zijn bij gedragstherapie of
als middel om een klinisch probleem te verhelpen.

Maastricht Int. Dogshow at MECC Halls,
homebred junior female EL Minja's Jawaharlal Nehru
(aka Katie)
was shown for the THIRD time in the showring and Katie won 3 times back to back her
classes with the
qualification 1 excellent and

JCAC, Katie obtained her Title "Dutch Junior Champion"
as well Katie obtained the Res. Best female
RCAC
and my Candy
obtained second in the Championclass with R.CACIB. the judge was Mr Hubentall
from Norway,

Sept.
Ruth Revillas and Antonio were at the International Gibraltar Dogshow, the judge was
Mr. Rui Oliveira from Portugal.

and on Top at the age of 10 months old Katie won
Best of Breed entered 20 Lhasas
with 4 Champions! My Candy
obtained second in the Championclass.

owned by Mirjam Boer won Best Baby with the qualification Very Promising and in the
honorary ring she finished 9th best Baby in Show. Congratulations for Mirjam and Sylvia,

Holland was the Great Rotterdam Int. Dogshow at the AHOY halls, my new junior female
EL Minja's Jawaharlal Nehru

for the first time shown in the ring won her class with 1 excellent and JCAC,
and Candy
obtained best female with the CAC/CACIB, the judge was Mr R.Rotner from Slovenia.

In the USA, EL Minja's Awa Skar Mo under judges Ann Hearn and Michael J Dachel at the Cheyenne Kennel Club
won both days Winners Bitch to complete her

American Championship with Fran, congratulations and thank you Fran.
